Give a gift to your house this Christmas!

In the spirit of the 12 days of Christmas, here are 12 things to include in your Kitchen Upgrade.

1. Stainless Steel.  Stainless steel is the new black.  Stainless steel is a trend that is here to stay.  For a Kitchen redesign, you can’t go wrong by selecting Stainless appliances.

2. Chef’s stoves.  They are beautiful and functional and can bring your kitchen to the next level.  A commercial stove will undeniably add value to your home.

4. Flooring. The most practical and durable flooring options are wood or tile. Tile and wood flooring are the best options for kitchens because they will last for many years and are easy to clean and maintain.

6. Countertops.  For a new kitchen, granite is still the King of countertops but other surfaces like marble, and concrete are also emerging. No matter the material, black is the color of choice for countertops in 2014.

 10. Cabinets.  They get the most use and abuse in your kitchen.  This is an area to splurge on high quality. Make sure that you purchase top quality cabinets and fixtures.

11. Kitchen Desks.  A mini office desk used to be a number one request for new kitchen design, but homeowners realized that this was just an area that led to clutter.  A large drawer for keeping papers and clutter out of the way is much more practical.  These kitchen drawers hold mail, notepads, pens and even a charging station for your cell phone.

12. Backsplashes.  Large backsplashes that go to the edge of the cabinets are beautiful and practical and can certainly add a beautiful look for your kitchen.  This is another area to Splurge!
